Anyways, today is all about Taxes. Trust me, if you’re a Creator, you want to be sure you’re aware of regulation, and make sure you’re doing things properly because on a real, there can be serious repercussions.

I was scrolling on twitter a few weeks ago now, and this thread came up on my TL. I thought this was crazy.

With over 4 Million impressions, this is all the social proof you need to know that, this Tax stuff is not just difficult for you, but for millions of people worldwide, and now, like never before— We live in an era where the average person can just wake up, make a piece of art, or content and make incredible amount of money online. This is amazing! In fact this is incredible, and we’re all for it.

Here’s the good news.

Creators in the UK out earn their peers. Earning above the national average which is currently around £2.1k.

However, we’ve found that 70% of creators are not aware of the risk, thus are not even registered properly to HMRC, or even sure of how to go about declaring their taxes, and overall managing their money.

I bet you didn’t even know that you can be taxed on the value of that free holiday that, that brand gave you.

Yes, there are many risks to this game, and we really want you to make the big moves, but just like a game of monopoly, one wrong move, and...
